About This Listserv
This Listserv will be used by Inova Fairfax Hospital in an effort to
improve communications with the physicians. Physicians will receive department
updates and Grand Rounds via this service.
If you have not provided us your email, we encourage you to update your
contact information including your email address. You may fax,
email, or telephone.

Inova?

Why should I provide my email?
Each department will be using their own Listserv to disseminate information.
Most of this information which was mailed out in the past will be emailed.
Additionally, there is a master Listserv which allows an Inova Administrator
to send information to all physicians in Inova Fairfax Hospital.
Can other list members see my email address?
No. When your department logs into a list, they will only be able to send
the messages to a list which does not display the members.
Can a list member reply to me or all other members receiving
the emails?
No. No one will be allowed to reply to other list members. In other words,
you will not have to worry about getting too many emails because a few
members might want to share their ideas or responses.
Can I send a message to the rest of the members?
No. However, if you wish to share important information, you may talk
to your department and ask them to send this information. The relevance
and importance of this information is your department's decision.
What information will be sent out?
Any information regarding meetings, Grand Rounds, CMEs may be disseminated
via this ListServ.
If I do not have an email, what should I do?
You may sign up for any of the free email accounts. Here are some choices.

What happens if I do not sign up for an email?
Messages sent by your department will be posted on this web site. You
may search for messages on this web site. However, any attachments which
are emailed will not be posted in the "archived messages" area.
If you wish to receive all of the information sent out by your department,
we strongly encourage you to sign up at one of the free webmail services
listed above.
